Wildfire Moon

We are engulfed by smoke from the wildfires. This photo was taken last night. The debris in the air affects the color of the moon.

Fire season happens every year in the American west. Some fires have come within a couple of miles of our home. During theses seasons we are always ready with an evacuation plan.

At times the smoke is so thick it's like walking in a fog, and the air is unbreathable. We have no idea how long this will last, possibly until our first snowfall.
