Horseplay in Montana part 1

Wilson is our 15 year old grey horse and Whiskey is our 31 year old brown Morgan. Whiskey is reluctant to play at first, see what happens in part 2.

Thanks for coming West with us!

Even on a cold and dreary day, In Montana, we have horseplay!  Whiskey and Wilson (mostly our comical Wilson) have fun in the snow on the mountain homestead featured in the book "Go West, Young Woman! written by wildlife artist and author Nancy Quinn.

Nancy Quinn is an internationally known wildlife artist whose work is noted for its detail and accuracy. She is the recipient of two World Wildlife Art Championship awards and the subject of numerous articles about animal art. Horseplay in Montana part 2

Horseplay in Montana part 2

It's 16 below zero, and Wilson convinces Whiskey to play, have you ever seen a 31 year old horse do this?

Enjoy watching the horses on their mountain homestead, featured in the book "Go West, Young Woman!"

I love watching the boys play in the snow.  I used to worry about them in sub-zero weather, but they don't seem to mind the cold!
