The Story Behind the Art- Golden Eagle

I'm often asked why I choose particular species for my wildlife paintings. In this new video series, "The Story Behind the Art" I share my personal experiences that lead me to create my artwork. Meet the Golden Eagle.

Thanks for watching, and if you want to learn more about our life on a rural mountain in the west, visit my website quinwildlifeart.com and enjoy my books, art, and videos.  If you care to leave a question or a comment, I do read them and respond.  😊

A Curtain can be a Work of Art

My Saturday project. I couldn't find a valance that was a good match for my curtain, so, I decided to paint one.
I made the valance out of a cotton material and I used acrylic paints thinned with water, so it wouldn't feel or look stiff. I love nature themes in home decor, but they are not easy to find.  I suppose necessity really is the mother of invention.

Since stores are not around the corner, I have learned a lot of skills to craft much of my decorative items.  If you are interested in more posts like this one, visit my website at quinnwildlifeart.com  and see my YouTube channel and Facebook clubs.  Thank you!
