An Awesome Sight

Around 1 AM this morning I saw a beautiful Lunar Halo above our mountain. It happens when the moonlight refracts through ice crystals in the clouds that are suspended high in the atmosphere.

There is always something inspiring to see in nature. I enjoy writing about events like this one and my books have many stories about our experiences and encounters with wildlife and the natural world.
